My two daughters have been singing this at home for a long time. I’ve not heard it before, and it sounds like a song I should know about, having worked in early childhood for 20 years! It is such a happy song, bringing them such joy and exactly expressing the fun and energy of making popcorn. The girls have made it into a game:
I haven’t got the tune here, but it is call and response in a kind of chanting style, so just make it up. The first verse they do sitting with hand actions, the second verse is wiggling and twisting, and the third verse involves lots of ‘popping’ from crouching on the carpet to jumping up high.
As a parachute game (or a beanbag game with a smaller sheet) we start it sitting down, placing the bean bags in the middle for the popcorn, then we wiggle the sheet/parachute side-to-side for the sizzling, then flip the bean bags into the air on the last verse.
Lots of giggles!

sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle, sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle,

pop! pop! pop!
The popcorn is a-popping
Let it pop pop pop pop pop pop ! (repeat both lines)
